Gender Bender promuove GENDER JUKEBOX COMPETITION, un contest per band musicali, invitate ad eseguire dal vivo una cover a scelta tra le canzoni che sono i classici dell’immaginario gay e lesbico, e brani pop, rock e metal, interpretati e performati in chiave queer.

Le band selezionate verranno invitate a sfidarsi pubblicamente in una serata evento, parte del programma della 8° edizione del festival. 

Un’apposita giuria – attualmente in corso di definizione - assegnerà un premio unico e indivisibile di 1.000 euro alla migliore esibizione live.

La scheda ufficiale di iscrizione va spedita entro il 1° settembre 2010.

La partecipazione al bando è gratuita.

GENDER JUKEBOX COMPETITION

Gender Bender is promoting and hosting GENDER JUKEBOX COMPETITION, a contest for bands invited to perform live a cover of one song choosen between songs related to gay, lesbian and queer imaginary, and pop, rock and metal songs, interpreted and performed in a queer version.

The selected bands will be invited to perform live in a special event within the Gender Bender 8^th edition programme.

The selected jury - currently being chosen - will award a single non-dividable prize of 1.000 euros to the best live performance.

The official participation form is to arrive by the 1st september 2010.

The participation is cost free.
