Call for applications for UK residency in collaboration with BJCEM

The project, called WORK IN COMMON, is a micro residency to be held in Nottingham (UK) on November 6-10, promoted by our partner UK Young Artists with the support of BJCEM and of Primary as hosting partner. The residency is an opportunity to interrogate collaboration and interdisciplinarity in relation to your work, with input from artists involved in the Primary programme, as well as with curators and staff at partner organisations. Artists must be aged 18–30 (on or by Monday 18 September 2017). We are looking for a broad range of artists who have a commitment to developing their practice, and who seek dialogue and engagement with the wider international contemporary arts and cultural sector.

As well as benefitting from the residency program, the artists will receive the following:

  • Accommodation in Nottingham (please note this may be shared, twin rooms)
  • Light lunch each day & some evening meals
  • The organisers will cover the flights/trains tickets up to a maximum amount of £60 for each selected UK participant a maximum of £150 for each selected international artists. In case the travel expenses exceed this amount, the artist should guarantee the coverage of the extra amount.
  • The international travel management will be coordinated by BJCEM and all the selected artists will be directly in touch with BJCEM.

All the information, as well as the applications forms and the program of the residency are available on this page of BJCEM Website:
