On The Move presents "Move On - Mobility for beginners"

Location :

On The Move
is happy to announce that the final report of the workshop on Artists’ mobility and Schengen visas, held in mid-November in Brussels, is now online. Following a fruitful two-day discussion with OTM members and external experts, the report highlights specific problems faced by artists, confronts theory and practice, and suggests solutions and next steps, with a specific attention to the revision of the EU visa code in 2013.

Young and emerging European artists might not face problems with Schengen visas, but they may need some help to face their first “mobility experiences”. OTM’s new research dossier Move on! Mobility for beginners contains tips & links, and could be interesting also for more experienced artists and cultural professionals… This short guide was produced with the support of the Hippocrène Foundation and is available in English and French (and soon in Italian and German too).

Cultural mobility is On the Move’s raison d’être, but how to be mobile while respecting the environment? Find very practical responses in the Green mobility guide for the performing arts produced by Julie’s Bicycle - now available also in Italian. A special Christmas gift for the Italian audiences by the Piemonte Region and the association C’era l’acca!
