"I am very restless when I am bound to space" - PERFORMANCE

The outside world becomes what to run from, the reality that forces people to interact involuntary with others, to use codes for their understanding. "I am very restless when I am bound to space, " aphorism by Alda Merini transforms the outside world in a cage in which people live restless, prevented from expressing themselves fully. The room where I was locked up for five hours, 1 square meter, it becomes the world in which I lived in freeadom, eating, sleeping, reading, playing doing all makes me happy, with no time to set and not mandatory. Even when the room door was opened to visitors, showing the silent resident, the isolation remained extreme and meditative as the act of composing words by hand: a ritual that shows the activities of women like sewing or crochet, together with the more masculine rituals such as thumbnails and writing. Gestures which attracted the extreme attention of every person in the house, allowding me to control the outside world. A difficult possibility in a real situation.
