Otherness Collection

Otherness Collection is an album recorded in 2012 by Giuseppe Paradiso Meridian 71 (an international group led by drummer Giuseppe Paradiso), featuring all compositions and arrangements by Giuseppe Paradiso.

The album was recorded in Boston, MA (United States).

 

This project was also inspired by a collaboration with Italian philosopher Francesco Paradiso (PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales in Sidney, Australia), and aims at exploring the ethical implications of the encounter between the practice of world jazz music and the philosophical concept of "Otherness".
