Emerging artist. Luca Danieli was awarded a Ph.D. in music composition at the University of Birmingham in 2019. In 2015, he was Artist in Residence for the European Art-Science-Technology Network at the ZKM Centre for Art and Multimedia of Karlsruhe, Germany. He has been performing in the field of art-science with the Birmingham Ensemble for Electroacoustic Research (BEER), with which he developed the project Dark Matter for the sonification of the data collected by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in 2016.In the same year, he worked as International Development Assistant for the Birmingham Open Media (BOM) in the field of AST. Between 2014 and 2017, he contributed to the development of the open-source software for algorithmic composition SuperCollider, and worked as a web developer for the company JNC Solutions Ltd. in 2015/2016.
