Roberta Guccione

I graduated in Acting at "International theatre center La Cometa" Drama Academy of Rome, Italy in 2011.
During this time I had the opportunity also to take part in a series of workshops on: Theatrical Biomechanics and Scenic Movements led by the late Russian master Nikolaj Karpov; I took part in a workshop on Cechov led by Natalia Zvereva; I could explore Viola Spolin's method with Kathy Hendrickson and the Musical during a studio on "Chicago" with Agustí Humet.
I have also a work experience as Drama Teacher in a Children and adult Theatre Course and I worked as Assistant Operator in a Theatre Laboratory and Assistant Operative for Disabled Children.
I have played in Russia at ”Moscow art theatre school’s international festival” with the play: Katzelmacher of R.W.Fassbider.
In the 2013 I had the chance to try and improve my skills not only as an actress and a singer but as an author as well, working on "Pratiche Poetiche"s project in the cultural center Percorsi Rialto. During this time I wrote a play called "Il Viaggio Del Salmone" (winner of NoPs fest in 2014) that is the result of a personal path in which my own living experience and personal way of managing life has become source material to use and to transform into a creative process.
In 2016 i've been participating in different workshops in the Uk such as: Slapstick and Physical Comedy: Complicite Open Workshop led by Jos Houben, London, Puppetry: Manipoulate fest. Workshop led by Julian Crouch and Saskia Lane, Norwich, Failure Lab focus on improvisation, performance and devising skills: led by Mary Pearson, Liverpool. Clowning Workshop led by Yoel Orgelby at Bluecoat, Liverpool. Trance Mask workshop led by Simone Tani at Lantern Theatre.
