Simone Damiani

Simone Damiani (EggVj) inizia a realizzare video nel 2001 a Londra; collabora con Virgin Italy e UK girando video musicali e promozionali per gli artisti dell'etichetta. Torna in Italia nel 2003 per realizzare un documentario d'arte sullo scultore Igor Mitoraj e per creare videoscenografie per spettacoli allestiti al Teatro Colosseo ed al Teatro Brancaccio a Roma. Nel 2004 fonda la casa di produzione "Eggworld Studios". Alla fine del 2005 inizia a collaborare con RAI Trade come regista di video musicali, come autore e regista. Dal 2001 crea esperimenti di videoarte che presenta all'interno di rassegne e gallerie in Italia ed all'estero. Si è esibito come vj in club europei come il "Notting Hill Arts Club" ed il "The Frige" a Londra ed il Club "Rouge" a Parigi. Alla fine del 2005 ha presentato i suoi lavori nell'ambito della manifestazione "ResFest" organizzata da Fox Int. Channels. Ha aperto con un suo lavoro il Live Performers Meeting del 2005. Nel Gennaio 2006 espone i suoi lavori nella sua prima personale presso la galleria M27 di Verona. In Febbraio esporra presso la galleria "La Sala Naranja" di Valencia in Spagna. ----------------------- Simone Damiani (Egg) starts making videos in 2001 in London; he works for Virgin Italy and UK shooting music videos and promotionals for the label's artists. He came back in Italy in 2003 for making an art documentary about the famous sculptor Igor Mitoraj and for creating video scenographies for shows at Colosseo and Brancaccio Theater in Rome. In 2004 he founds his production company: Eggworld Studios. At the end of 2005 he starts working with RAI Trade as director for music videos and with Sky Tv as author and director. From 2001 Egg create videoart esperiments presented in festivals and galleries in Italy and abroad. He performed as vj in european clubs like "Notting Hill Arts Club" and "The Fridge" in London, "Club Rouge" in Paris. At the end of 2005 he presented his works at "ResFest", festival organized by Fox Int. Channels. He opened with his performance the Live Performers Meeting 2005. In January 2006 he shows his works in his first "personal exhibition" in Verona at "M27 Gallery". In February 2006 he shows his works into the gallery "La Sala Naranja" in Valencia (Spain).
