Antonio Longobardo nasce a Catania il 1979, si trasferisce a Milano nel 1997 dove inizia il corso di Industrial design presso l'istituto Europeo di Design. Parallelamente agli studi di design svolge ricerche su arte e comunicazione visiva ottenendo riconoscimenti internazionali e menzioni speciali. Nel 2002 entra a far parte come borsista ricercatore della Fondazione per l'architettura Augusto Rancilio Faar-Csar sviluppando un progetto documentaristico multimediale destinato all'Adi (associazione per il disegno industriale) sul design italiano e sulla storia del Compasso d'oro. Dal 2002 per due anni ha collaborato con l'Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano come membro dello staff interno, coordinando progetti di grande interesse e visibilità. I suoi progetti variano dalla grafica su stampa o multimediale (siti web, video e animazioni) al design del prodotto industriale ed all'arte contemporanea. Partecipa a numerose mostre e workshop itineranti nel mondo come Artista o Designer e vincitore di notevoli concorsi. Ottiene pubblicazioni su internet e riviste Italiane, Spagnole, Svedesi, Arabe ed Inglesi. Ha collaborato con designer e con aziende di fama internazionale sviluppando progetti per Otis, Piquadro, Whirlpool, Inda. Nel 2002 fonda a Milano lo studio di design NafkaLab creando un team di lavoro completo e competente su diversi fronti del progetto. Dal 2005 vive a Londra mantenendosi in costante relazione con personale e con aziende Italiane.
