Federico Montaresi

Federico Montaresi aka Trasparente (Gulf of Poets 94 ‘). delves into the idea of bodily transparency, a concept in which the physical body becomes a vehicle of clarity and truth, free of the layers that time, experience and society impose on us. By eliminating these constructs, he seeks to reveal the raw, unfiltered essence of human existence. This research does not aim to freeze time, but rather to embrace its fluidity, allowing the viewer to experience a moment that is perpetually in flux, yet eternally present, rejecting rhetoric. He works mainly with videos, installations, instant photography and new media. He graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in Painting (Triennal Degree) and in Cinema and Video (Master Degree). He graduated from 中国美术学院 in Hangzhou (Master Degree) in Digitai Art. He exhibits nationally and internationally (France, United Kingdom, China, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, United States, Taiwan, Switzerland). Currently lives and works between ltaly and China.
