Profilo

I am a Ukrainian artist and researcher raised in Italy. My multidisciplinary practice is rooted in photography and extends into transmedial experimentation, with a particular focus on moving images, writing, and translation.

Through a critical reading of dominant narratives, I look at how personal experience is eroded into collective narratives. My work engages with memory, power, and practices of resistance, paying attention to forms of invisible violence embedded in everyday life. I often use strategies of play and provocation to approach memory, deviance, and anxiety in concrete ways.My research focuses on the long term psychosomatic effects of biopolitical control. Translation is central to my practice, understood as an act of access, control, and manipulation. I am interested in who becomes visible, how solidarity is structured or denied, and how language functions as a tool of social learning.

I completed my education between Italy and Spain, earning a BA in Photography and Cinema at ABANA in Naples and UPV in Valencia, followed by a postgraduate specialization in Graphic Design for Photography at ISIA Urbino in 2023. My work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions at independent spaces including Cripta747 and Almanac in Turin, Museo Novecento in Florence, as well as international contexts such as CRMI Galerie and Dzyga Art Center.
