Lorenza Demata

  My name is Lori and I am an Italian curious girl who loves to explore the world and its inhabitants through travels, images, sounds, words, food, touch.   I was born in 1988 and have been interested to human being and art since my childhood. I attended the "humanities" high school in Florence and I fell in love with image and photography several years ago.   I love looking at the world through photography; everytime I take a picture, I feel that I'm an active part of the surrounding reality. Over all, I love taking pictures of people, discovering their feelings through their face and eyes, and of cities and interesting urban environment and anthropology. A field of photography which I consider really special is what I call "music and musician photography": this is for sure my favourite!    In september 2010 I took part to an exhibition called "Parole immaginate" (Imagined words) with a group of fabolous artists.   Since February 2011 I'm working with Decibel House recording studio and for the Decibel Music contest as official photographer. Since 2010/2011 some of my pictures are part of the booklet of the first solo album of a great blues musician, Karl Demata.   Please don't hesitate to contact me for any question, suggestion, thought, concert or photo shooting session! :) ..and I'll be happy about that!
