Frost weathering is a process of rock fragmentation induced by stresses caused by freezing the water of rain, snowmelt, fog or dew entered into rocks cavities, cracks, fractures and pores. The process may act on a wide range of spatial and temporal scales, from a few minutes to many years and from dislodging mineral grains to fracturing boulders.

Walking around Cacis (El Forn de la Calç, Contemporary Art and Sustainability Center) I have observed many of these frost fracturated stones. Fascinated by this natural sculptural process, I geolocated some, then I collected them, documented them, and returned them to its place of origin.

Starting so a process of periodic monitoring of its evolution in the natural environment.
