Emilia Siano_Libra She was born in a small town near Salerno the 2nd of May 1984. Since childhood she gets clos to the fashion world and at as teenager she learns the dressmaking and sewing tacnique, handicraft passionate and alive, in a small family workshop in her town, in which she currently works. She graduates in Industrial Design in Rome at the “Prima Facoltà di Architettura Ludovico Quaroni – La sapienza”, with a tesis on an subject very important to her, self-production and tecniques of alternative and not conventional fast prototype. As soon as she finishes the university she starts working with architecture companies prototype and 3D modeling workrooms. Working with industrial production CNC machines and other workshop thecnique “on demand” push her to test a combination of materials like the plexiglass or the aluminium with the leather, linked to handicrafts: in december 2010 Libra brand was born.
