SOUVENIR di Annamaria Di Giacomo anno: 2007 durata: 3’00” genere: videoarte tecnica: mini DV formato: dvd PAL 4:3 Visioni passate si mescolano con visioni attuali, come sospese, fuori da ogni tempo e ogni luogo. È un’escursione in luoghi familiari che evocano “antiche” visioni, è un confronto con me stessa, le persone care, i luoghi, in bilico tra ieri e oggi. In questa chiave ogni ricordo si cristallizza, dopo essersi frantumato e ricomposto, acquista nuovo valore e spessore, è rivalutato. Ogni immagine contemporaneamente spinge avanti nel tempo o scaraventa indietro… Questo viaggio, non fisico ma interiore, porta con se qualcosa, un souvenir… Present and past visions are mixed, suspended out time and space. It is an excursion through familiar places that evoke “ancient” visions, it is a confrontation with myself, with my loved ones, with places, in an unstable balance between past and present. Fragmented and then recomposed, every memory cristallizes into this key, acquiring a new significance and depth, is revalued. Simultaneously, every image places itself forward and backward in time… This trip, not physical but internal, carries with it a souvenir.
