Gianfranco Papa nasce il 01 Giugno 1977 a Frascati(Roma).

Frequenta e si forma presso l’Istituto Statale D’Arte di Marino Arte dei metalli e dell’oreficeria, si perfeziona all’ Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma dipartimento di scenografia laureandosi nel 2002.

Inizia il suo percorso nell’arte con le prime esperienze puramente figurative date anche dagli studi artistici effettuati che , dopo anni di sperimentazione , lo porteranno ad una sua personale interpretazione influenzato dai fatti della quotidianità e ricerca interiore.

Si interessa di Teatro, Pittura , Scultura, Fotografia, installazioni.

Dal 2008 è socio fondatore dell’Accademia Castrimeniense di Marino.

Dal 2001 al 2010 è direttore della fotografia per la compagnia teatrale I Nuovi Istrioni.

All’Attivo numerose esposizioni.
