(ITALIANO)La parola "desiderio" deriva dal latino "de-sidus", "assenza di stelle".Le lettere mi hanno suggerito un sigillo raffigurante l'errare per mare, simbolo massimo degli impulsi dell'animo (ciò che poi verrà chiamato "inconscio") con le sue insondabili profondità, le volubili maree o il quieto cullare di una risacca; stelle e navigazione formano un connubio inscindibile archetipale, sacralizzato sin dall'Antichità: la similitudine del viaggio in mare con i moti interiori che ci influenzano e ci sospingono ogni giorno risulta facilmente accomunabile."Desiderio" sottintende una mancanza, una assenza di un qualcosa che ci guidi e rischiari la notte (esteriore o interiore), è motore e guida al contempo che può portarci in acque placide o tempestose; è per realizzare il Desiderio, per poterlo "coronare", che affrontiamo i flutti - consci o meno della cosa.Uno dei fondamenti della civiltà da cui discendiamo è il viaggio di ritorno di Odisseo ed il suo desiderio del Ritorno: nell'Odissea l'eroe affronta morte, dolore, privazioni e Ignoto, per l'agognato ritorno alla casa dei Padri; e per riuscirvi dimostrerà le stesse qualità del Desiderio: astuzia, curiosità e coraggio.Il Desiderio è sempre giovane: come il Kourous raffigurato sulla barca. "Kourous" means "boy", a greek statue of arcaic period portraying a young man.Desire is alike the Sun: it illuminate cosmos with life.
